from the designer:

A sophisticated style with a unique twist, prepare to fall in love with this elegant wedding dress with asymmetrical neckline from Essense of Australia. A plunging, V-neckline commands attention on the bodice of this lace and crepe gown and is accentuated with placed lace that creates a breathtaking, asymmetrical pattern. The lace from the semi-sheer bodice continues slightly onto the gown’s crepe skirt and is repeated near the hem and up the front. The back of this gown is completely open and highlighted on either side with organic lace. Visible seaming shapes the body down the back of the skirt before extending into a slight train, complete with sparkling details. The back of this elegant wedding dress with asymmetrical neckline zips up beneath fabric-covered buttons.

Size & Fit

In the description of each dress listing you will see a range of measurements that the dress will be alterable for. If your current waist measurement is not within this range, you will not be able to try the dress on. Selecting the "Shop by Size" collection in the menu that matches your waist measurement will show you all the dresses in the store for you!

Because sizing scales vary so much, we have standardized our sizing by waist measurement. We personally measure each dress when it comes into the shop and we also estimate the amount that the dress can be sized up or down in alterations based on advice from the seamstresses that we work with.

We only take the waist measurement because it can be difficult to take an accurate measure for the hip/bust, and generally these areas are easier to alter as long as the waist fits you. That being said, if you know yourself to be exceptionally "hippy" or "busty" you may need to size up a few inches in the waist to accommodate, and have the waist altered down.

If you have any questions about sizing please reach out! We are happy to help you out to make sure you are looking at dresses that will fit you.
